You can’t help but feel England hugely underestimated Scotland today. Today has been a textbook example of ‘By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail’

    Jack

Can’t fault Scotland today. But they have not had a tough afternoon. England have made far too many unforced mistakes.

England look nailed on to score after a clever kick-pass from George Ford finds Freddie Steward in space, but Darcy Graham comes out of nowhere to tackle the England full-back into touch - superb defence from the wee man.

I think the two boys that have stood up today are the two wingers. They have fought for everything and bossed that aerial contest.

I can’t remember a worse England performance. We’ve heard so much about an English rugby renaissance - that nonsense has been put to bed.

    Guy, Gloucester

How can anyone watch this and seriously think George Ford and Fin Smith are England’s best fly halves?

    Gary, London

I’m honestly struggling to believe how bad England have been today. Scotland have been excellent, so clinical every time England have made an error but England have gifted them the chances with awful decision making.

England lacking everything Scotland are delivering, in spades.

Scotland have been the better team from the off. Simple as that!
