Wales hooker Evan Lloyd has signed a new contract with Cardiff.
The 24-year-old from Penarth has followed fellow internationals Alex Mann and James Botham in agreeing fresh terms at the Arms Park.
Lloyd has made 39 appearances for Cardiff and has won eight caps since making his Wales debut against France in the 2024 Six Nations.
Coach Corniel van Zyl is excited about the potential of the converted back-row forward, who was an unused member of Steve Tandy's squad for the autumn series.
"Evan is physically blessed and has a very high ceiling," said Van Zyl. "He is big man, he's well developed physically, is powerful and explosive, bringing an all-round game."

Lloyd, who is currently injured, has made 10 appearances for the Blue and Blacks this season when battling for the number two jersey with Liam Belcher and Dafydd Hughes .
"I feel like I have grown and developed a lot this season, both on and off the pitch," said the hooker, who played in the back row for Wales Under-20s.
"I have worked hard to improve my consistency and overall game, but I am also really keen to continue learning and developing.
"As a club we want to keep pushing forward and I want to play my part in that. I want to help bring success to Cardiff and I am excited by what we can achieve together."
Cardiff, who are chasing the United Rugby Championship play-offs, travel to Benetton in the last 16 of the Challenge Cup on Saturday.
