After her second hat-trick of the season, Arsenal's in-from striker Vivianne Miedema tells the BBC Red Button:

"The team is playing amazingly at the moment. The season still has a long way to go but you can see we all have fun on the pitch.

"We said all week, 'the game against Chelsea doesn't mean anything if we don't win today'."

After scoring her first goal of the game inside five minutes, Vivianne Miedema got her second shortly after half-time, with a composed near-post finish following a fine cross from Katie McCabe.

It's another very impressive win for leaders Arsenal. Their 100% record continues in style.

All over at Crawley where Hope Powell's Brighton have been well beaten, with teenage forward Georgia Stanway the star of the Manchester City show.

This is Vivianne Miedema's second WSL hat-trick of the season already, after five league games. Not a bad return at all...

She has nine goals for this league campaign already.

Karen Carney saw a second-half penalty saved by Birmingham keeper Ann-Katrin Berger, before Hayley Ladd was sent off for a second bookable offence late on for the West Midlands club.

The result - which came four days after Emma Hayes' side beat Fiorentina in the Champions League - kept Chelsea six points behind well-organised Birmingham in the table.
