Liverpool made it back-to-back Women's Super League wins under caretaker boss Chris Kirkland with victory at West Ham United.

Courtney Sweetman-Kirk grabbed the only goal, heading in after West Ham keeper Becky Spencer denied Niamh Charles.

Liverpool keeper Fran Kitching kept out Leanne Kiernan's dipping effort and tipped Gilly Flaherty's header over the bar as West Ham sought an equaliser.

The Reds went close to a second late on as Spencer saved from Rinsola Babajide.

Liverpool's third victory in their past four league games lifts them to fourth in the table, while West Ham remain eighth.
