Only two Chelsea players before Palmer have scored 20 goals and set up another 10 in a Premier League season - both in the same campaign. Frank Lampard (22 goals, 14 assists) and Didier Drogba (29 goals, 10 assists) reached those totals in the 2009-10 campaign..

Morgan Gibbs-White recorded his 10th assist of the Premier League campaign, with only Ollie Watkins (12) making more in 2023-24.
He is just the third Nottingham Forest player to hit double figures for assists in a single season in the competition, after Bryan Roy in 1994-95 (11) and Ian Woan in 1995-96 (10).
Callum Hudson-Odoi has scored eight goals for Forest in the Premier League this season; the most by an English player for the club since both Woan and Jason Lee in 1995-96,

Anon: Mudryk has more league goals than Grealish... Jackson has more league goals than Nunez... Palmer has more assists than any City or Arsenal player. If this team can continue developing (likely) and if Pochettino can fix the defence (less likely), then the top four should be the target next season.

I think the Chelsea game sums up our season. We have competed well and looked dangerous on the break. We have put ourselves in a position to win a lot more points, but we just haven’t got ourselves over the line enough times. We are lucky to have three teams beneath us that could mean we stay up with 29 points.

"I think we had chances to win the game, we were dominant and controlling the game but we allowed them in. We should have finished the game.
"There were moments we did really well but at the same time a lot of things repeat themselves. We are not managing the game well when we have an advantage.
"We will prepare for the game against Burnley the way we always do, to compete well. It's important to finish the season on a high.

You have got to remember when Mauricio first came to Chelsea, the amount of players and turnover they had there. I knew that they were always going to improve on what happened last season, it was a disastrous season but this season hasn't been great until recent weeks.
And Mauricio being asked that [about his future] is a real surprise for me because I thought he has the right person when they brought him in and I still think he's the right person in charge now to continue to develop these young players but you need time."

"We started controlling the game but conceded in a way we should never concede. The second half was tough but I think it's an important victory for us. The most important thing is the three points but we didn't really replicate the performance from previous games against Tottenham and West Ham.
"If you remember Sheffield United and Burnley, we have struggled against this type of team.
"I think today the players that came off the bench had a real impact."

Got to admit I was against Nicolas Jackson, but his celebrations and goal showed his commitment. Great result, upwards and forward to next season with the same determination we are finally showing.

I am pleased because the players from the bench made a big impact so I am happy with our recovery. It was important for the team to finish the season strong, with the hope to start next season really well.
"If we are honest we were punished in our first 10 games. Our performance was good but we were not clinical and we wasted big chances. All the data said we were in a false position. After we beat Tottenham, in the last 24 games we are in the top four or five.
"I want to be positive, that is important. The players believe in the way that we work. We have struggled in these type of games but this young team need to realise how we need to compete."

Following their 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge in September, Nottingham Forest are looking to complete their first league double over Chelsea since 1978-79, when they were reigning top-flight champions under Brian Clough.
Chelsea have won just two of their last 10 away league games against Nottingham Forest (D4 L4), winning 1-0 in November 1994 and 3-1 in February 1999.
Nottingham Forest have only lost their final home league match in one of their six previous Premier League campaigns (W4 D1), doing so against Sheffield United in 1992-93 with a 2-0 defeat that confirmed their relegation.
Following their 3-1 win at Sheffield United last time out, Nottingham Forest are looking to win consecutive Premier League games for the third time since their promotion in 2022 (previously January 2023 v Southampton and Leicester and December 2023 v Newcastle and Man Utd).
Though they’ve lost just one of their last 12 Premier League games (W6 D5), Chelsea are winless in their last five away from home (D4 L1). Indeed, the Blues have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last 14 Premier League away games, since a 2-0 win at Fulham in October.
Chelsea’s Premier League games have seen 129 goals this season (F70 A59), the third most after Sheffield United (135) and Newcastle (134). Indeed, only in 2009-10 (135) have Chelsea’s games produced more goals (F103 A32).
Including penalties, Nottingham Forest have both scored the fewest (7) and conceded the most (27) set piece goals in the Premier League this season.
Chris Wood has scored more goals than any other Nottingham Forest player in the Premier League this season (12). However, no side has he faced more often without ever scoring in the competition than Chelsea (11).
Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson has been involved in six goals in his last five Premier League games (4 goals, 2 assists), as many as in his previous 16 appearances (3 goals, 3 assists).
Cole Palmer has been involved in 30 Premier League goals this season, scoring 21 and assisting nine. The last Chelsea player to be involved in more was Eden Hazard in 2018-19 (31 – 16G 15A), while 2009-10 was the last time a Blues player scored more in a league campaign (Didier Drogba 29, Frank Lampard 22).
