Cambridge United and Notts County are the big winners in League Two this afternoon.

A 2-0 win for the U's at Newport means they move within two points of leaders Bromley, who were held to a goalless draw at Harrogate.

The Magpies thrashed Tranmere 5-0 to climb into the automatic promotion spots.

Crewe also muscled into the top seven with their 2-1 win at Swindon earlier.

At the other end, Newport remain bottom, while Harrogate move within a point of safety behind Barrow, who blew a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at Fleetwood at lunchtime.

  5. 'Things look bleak for Newportpublished at 17:17 GMT 21 February

    FT: Newport 0-2 Cambridge

    Adam Cottier
BBC Final Score commentator at Rodney Parade

Newport have now conceded 60 league goals this season and things look bleak.

Courtney Baker-Richardson squandered a glorious chance just before Cambridge exposed their glaring frailties in the defence.

Newport were booed off and it’s difficult to quantify how much the absence of manager Christian Fuchs affected them.

Cambridge went up a gear in the second half and one defeat in 19 is more than promotion form.

  6. 'Harrogate are fighting for survival'published at 17:16 GMT 21 February

    FT: Harrogate 0-0 Bromley

    Paul Bolland
Ex-Harrogate midfielder on BBC Radio York

Bromley will be happy with a point based on the game. In particular in the second half, Harrogate created chance and chance. That was the only criticism, they just couldn't get the ball over the line.

Back to back clean sheets is so important. There was a lot of young players out there today and they really stood up to the task. They are fighting, it will be up and down until the end of the season but they have given themselves a real chance of survival.

Lincoln City are the big winners of the day as they move to within one point of the leaders Cardiff City by beating Mansfield, while the Bluebirds were thrashed 5-2 at Plymouth.

Bolton lost ground as they were held 2-2 at home by Blackpool, with Stockport moving up to fourth place with a win over nine-man Wigan.

Bradford City drop to fifth after losing 3-1 at AFC Wimbledon in a match that started 30 minutes late because of traffic congestion.

Reading are up to seventh despite being held by the bottom side Port Vale.

Rotherham lost the south Yorkshire derby to Doncaster to remain in trouble, and Leyton Orient's win at Northampton could be a huge result for Richie Wellens' side.

Full-time whistles have gone across the country and there's plenty of goals to talk about.

It was late drama for Stockport as theybeat nine-man Wigan 4-2 thanks to two goals by Kyle Wootton.

There was for heartbreak for Reading as Port Vale scored a 96th-minute equaliser through Martin Sherif.

Burton clinched a valuable point against Luton with Fabio Tavares making it 1-1, in the 92nd minute.

Peterborough came from behind to draw 3-3 at home to Exeter, who seemed unstoppable when Jayden Wareham scored his first hat-trick for the club.

Huddersfield came from behind to beat Barnsley 2-1 thanks to a goal from Ryan Hardie.

Leyton Orient beat Northampton 2-1 with a winner from James Morris.

In the delayed kick-off, which started at 15:30 GMT, AFC Wimbledon defeated Bradford 3-1.

  9. 'Everyone worked so hard'published at 17:06 GMT 21 February

    FT: Mansfield 0-2 Lincoln

    Gavin Gordon
Former Lincoln striker on BBC Radio Lincolnshire

This is fantastic. Everyone worked so hard, full 100% effort. They deserved the win. Mansfield didn't have many chances. This season is just brilliant to watch.

  10. 'Outstanding'published at 17:02 GMT 21 February

    FT: Harrogate 0-0 Bromley

    Paul Bolland
Ex-Harrogate midfielder on BBC Radio York

Harrogate will be disappointed they haven't got three points. They were outstanding.

Man to man just brilliant. The belief and confidence they had as the game went on was unbelievable. If I am neutral I would think these sides had swapped places in the league.

  11. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:58 GMT 21 February

    Newport 0-2 Cambridge

An important win for promotion-chasing Cambridge who were made to work for it but eventually broke the Newport resistance.

Liam Bennett's 73rd-minute header was followed up three minutes later by Sullay Kaikai who pounced on Exiles keeper Jordan Wright's error to make sure of the points.

Just one defeat in their past 19 games for Neil Harris' side and the U's are now within two points of leaders Bromley.

    Quite the day.

Bolton hit the woodwork twice before taking the lead through Eoin Toal and seemed to be cruising to the win.

But credit Blackpool for fighting back as Hayden Coulson levelled before home goalkeeper Jack Bonham gifted George Honeyman the ball to make it 2-1.

Mason Burstow came on as a late substitute to snatch a point for Bolton for the second successive game but they lose ground on second-placed Lincoln.

It ends all square as League Two leaders Bromley drop points for a third game running.

A good result for relegation-battling Harrogate, who were the better side and may feel they deserved to take all three points.

That's now four games unbeaten for the first time since their opening four matches for Simon Weaver's side.

And it's the first time since early October that the Ravens have failed to win in three straight games.
