For the fourth season in a row, it's Manchester City who are crowned champions.

The season isn't quite over yet, with three European finals, the FA Cup final and the Championship play-off final to come in the next couple of weeks.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth's Ryan Christie speaking to PLP: "I thought we played well. It was an open game and it didn't suit anyone in that heat. A draw would have suited everyone in the end but we got caught on the counter.

"My eyes lit up, I was planning my celebration and the slide tackle came out of nowhere. It wasn't to be in the end and we'll all go on our holidays now.

"It's a positive one. We could have finished top 10 so that's frustrating but it gives us something to focus on. We've had plenty of time under him [Andoni Iraola] now and pre-season will come around quick."

Manchester City

Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne speaking to Sky Sports: "It feels just as amazing as the first one. We worked so hard for it. It has been a tough battle with Arsenal and Liverpool this year, and you know to be here again doing something historic is amazing.

On scoring so early: "It helped us obviously. Great goal from Phil, it just shows the great season he had had for us. The goals he has scored he is so decisive for us. It is a brilliant moment for him to decide this game for us.

On which of his six titles is the most special?: "For me this is one fo the most special, because I have had a tough year being out for six months, but to come back in the way that I could. To help the team win and to be at a good level. It is special for me personally.

On if the Newcastle return felt like his moment: "I can't speak for the team but for me it was like a perfect kickstart. For me it was a brilliant moment to come back into the season. I am happy that I was able to come back in the right way and help the team. They did a great job in the first half of the season and we are here again.

On the side's work ethic: "The manager sets the tone but this team we enjoy playing with each other, it is not a team with big egos. We play around with each other we run like crazy and we just enjoy it. The enjoyment is lasting so that's it."

Kyle Walker still has a few years left.

Walker has improved as a defender with the danger he senses. I think back to his earlier days, he used to rely on his pace.

He could play as a centre-back at the Euros for England. He is a phenomenal player and he leads by example. What a player for Manchester City.

There was talk about him leaving in the summer. How do you replace him? Walker is a Rolls Royce.

If you look at last season, Arsenal faded away. This season they have been stable and if you look at Arsenal's season alone they have been an absolute juggernaut.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, speaking to Sky Sports: "First half we were not 100% in control. We had to face some chances from Brighton but after half-time when we changed something then we had more control. Better in defending, pressing and we were also better keeping the ball and we caught the movements in behind when the first half was too static."

On a difficult season: "It’s difficult but we talked before over this and it was a very tough season but by the end it is not good enough. We have a good opportunity going into the final, it’s a huge achievement but if you are in a final you want to win. It’s all about trophies and the opportunity to lift the cup."

On injured players returning: "It’s very important. In this season, especially in the backline for the second half of the season, so many injuries. All the times we had to adjust, make compromises. That was no good for our levels, for our points, for our results, everyone has seen this. But it is good when you go into a cup final that players are returning. Players are desperate to return and now we have one week to get them 100% fit and put out a competitive team for the final."

"It is fantastic - the FA Cup final. It is such a crazy event, everyone is really excited to lift this cup."

When Kevin de Bruyne got injured I thought that would be the moment Man City would find it difficult, but Phil Foden coming into a central midfield position really did help.

I love this side when Kevin de Bruyne plays, I feel he gives them something different.

Palace manager Oliver Glasner speaking to BBC Sport: "It was another great performance, but to be honest there were 10 to 15 minutes in the first half where we could have conceded especially from set-plays.

"But after the second goal and some small adaptations at half-time, we could see how the players are enjoying playing together and and having fun on the pitch, so it was a great end to the season."

On Jean-Philippe Mateta:"He has a lot of confidence. He makes the runs, he works hard and he has a great finish but he needs the support of all his team-mates."

Can they keep their in-form attackers like Mateta, Eze and Olise? "The club is working hard that we can keep all the players and what we could do is show that we are ambitious, the journey and the direction that they can go in, that they can express themselves and show all their qualities. Crystal Palace, with these fans and this team is a good place to stay."

On how long he will keep playing: "I feel young. I don't know if that a good thing or a bad thing. I feel young, I feel great, I still have my pace. I come to training every day wanting to learn. Once that goes then it is probably time to pack up but this group of lads keeps you on your toes. They keep on you to keep improving every day."

On being a leader at the club: "It is good. It is something that you pick up and you learn. From Vinnie, Gundo, Fernandinho, I've learned, and this year I have had to take it on my shoulders. It is tough some days when you are not at it and you have to set an example, but I have tried.

"I said to the lads today that it's not just about the 11 that start, the people that come on are so important. The other day against Tottenham, Stefan stepped up, very rarely your goalkeeper gets subbed but he comes on and makes a defining moment in Premier League history with the save against Son. Those are the small margins that make this team what it is.

"Every player has their super power. Kevin de Bruyne with his passing, Erilng Haaland with his finishing, Phil Foden with his control in small spaces, Jeremy Doku one on one, I could go through them all. Mine is my pace, just try and do what I can do for the team."

Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer speaking to PLP: "Over the past five games we have gelled together more than we did at the start of the season. Many things happen."

On Moises Caicedo's goal: "Not many score from halfway. It was a good goal, wasn't it?"

On Thiago Silva: "He's one of the best centre-backs to play the game. What a legend."

"We're a young, exciting squad. If we keep working and pushing then I think big things can come for us."

Chelsea

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I think the way we finished the season is fantastic and that is the first step to do something important."

On Moises Caicedo's goal: "Amazing, amazing goal. I haven't seen too many goals like this. That is his talent. We do not train this type of situation.

"The vision is always there and we work hard to build something. We keep believing, that is the most important thing in football.

"The start of the season was tough. I am happy with how we performed in the last few months. We can fight for bigger things. At Chelsea we want to win and we want to be higher next season and put the club where it deserves to be."

Wolves

Wolves manager Gary O'Neil speaking to BBC MOTD: "Yeah really proud but disappointed with the two goals as they came from headers.

"Really difficult to hold out here when it's 2-0 and you know you're going to have a long second half kicking into the Kop. We created some moments as well. We have a penalty shout and I'm really proud of the players. I'm disappointed that it was decided by a VAR intervention."

On Nelson Semedo's red card: "I think it was late. Everyone who has played knows those tackles can happen. The referee has a good view of it and I don't think VAR needs to get involved. I don't understand why we're so desperate to get involved. There's no way that's clear and obvious.

"We will have to decide whether we appeal it or not but that's three games he will miss next season. It's really disappointing. It's not about VAR - I'm proud of our performance - but it sums up where VAR is for me. They didn't even pause it in the right place. It's really poor standard of officiating I thought so hopefully better for next year."

Are you confident VAR will be voted out? "I'm not very confident that it will be got rid of. That's not the technology's fault. That's the guys using it. There's no danger to Alexis Mac Allister. He's fine. There's just no need for that to be a red. I'm disappointed for the lads but we showed unbelievable character and togetherness and we gave it a go."

Special to be part of Jurgen Klopp's send-off? "Not special for me to be involved. I was just keen to do my job and get on with my business but for Liverpool Football Club, he's done an unbelievable job. He's connected the club with the area and instilling real belief in what they can achieve. He will be missed by the football club I'm sure and the league."

Manchester City

More from City boss Pep Guardiola on his secret to success: "I don't know! Work a lot. I respect them a lot. Be humble, incredible work ethic. One game, one game, one game - you can't think in November that you're going to win it.

"Evolving it is not. The sport director gives me these players and I think OK what is the best position for them? We can't play a false nine with [Erling] Haaland, we adapt the skills to the players. Not because I have an idea and every player had to do it. We adapt to the players.

"We were without [Erling] Haaland for many months, Julian [Alvarez] did an amazing job and Phil [Foden] has this talent. On the big stage, in the big moment he did. Amazing players but with Phil we have an extra thing."

On staying at the club: "The reality is I am closer to leaving than staying. We have talked with the club - my feeling is that I want to stay now. I will stay next season and during the season we will talk. But eight or nine years - we will see."

Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola speaking to Sky Sports: "For Arsenal to push us to another level - before it was Liverpool and the last two seasons it's been Arsenal. This one has been incredible. We get the message, we know they will be there for many years.

"Young manager with big talent - they sent us a message that you have to be careful for the next few years. When I moved here if someone had said I would win six leagues in seven seasons I would say you're insane - no way. All these players for Manchester United and Liverpool and Chelsea, all these teams. Now is our period. We are part of that."

What is the secret? "I don't know. A lot of work, I'm not saying I'm a bad manager but I have incredible support from the club. We have this work ethic, everyone does their job and every department is so important. This is the truth and the reality."

Thinking about making history by winning four in a row? "Not in the beginning but in January/February I said no-one has done it - why not? Always, from past experience, we think about the titles with two months left. In November and December it's not good to think of it.

"The one last season where we won the Treble the job is done - very special."

Brighton & Hove Albion

Midfielder Adam Lallana speaking to Sky Sports after his final appearance for Brighton: "Extremely disappointing result. First half I thought we played well, we had chances, even the first bit of the second half I had a chance, it was blocked. Two soft goals, it’s kind of the story of the last three months for us, not being able to score enough goals when we have created the chances. It’s just an anti-climax and we’re gutted we couldn’t give Roberto [De Zerbi] the send-off he deserved.

"I said earlier in the week it's important the fans stay patient with whoever the new manager is. Brighton have massively over-achieved in the last few seasons and Roberto is a huge part of that. It’s important we say thanks to him, because he was the gold dust on top. He got us to Europe, creating history here. So although it was disappointing, it is important we express our thanks to him."

On De Zerbi: "I’m extremely fortunate our paths crossed in the last couple of years. I will be forever grateful. It’s a shame it hasn’t ended in a fitting way but that’s football and the football cub will move on without Roberto, without myself. I have extremely fond memories of this football club and that goes further than the performance this afternoon."

On wearing the armband on his final appearance: "Pascal [Gross] said before the game he wanted me to lead the boys out and I was extremely honoured. You create such amazing friendships that goes beyond football results, points, achievements and in the end you leave. In the end I’m sure we will stay in contact. There’s a few goodbyes with Roberto and Jurgen [Klopp at Liverpool] so it’s a sad day, but a happy-sad day."

On Brighton’s future: "You only have to look at the numbers, the turnover and the young talent out there. It is an extremely well-run football club and they’ll bounce back for sure. It’s a wonderful job for whoever is fortunate to take it."

Aston Villa

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery speaking to BBC Sport: "When you lose 5-0 you are disappointed, and maybe a little bit embarrassed by the result. Today, we were not 100% with our power we have showed all season, and of course we did everything on Monday against Liverpool at home.

"We finished in our mind on Tuesday when we achieved our target for the season, and today we tried to have a good finish to the season but we did not play with consistency.

"It was a difficult match because they are playing very well, and secondly because we had finished in our minds the season when we achieved the result last Tuesday. We tried to compete and be organised like we have all season, but we have to accept how we have finished and how we achieved our objective last Tuesday."

Will Emery take time off with lots to prepare for next season?

"Yes, I need it, but I need to analyse deeply, with time, and also to enjoy the rest because the season was really tough.

"We achieved a lot but we demanded a lot of the players, so we have to rest and prepare professionally but also take time on decisions."

Liverpool

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk to Sky Sports: "I've got no words, it's a very emotional day. Liverpool is Liverpool. It's special and you see that today.

"It was always going to be a tough afternoon for everyone for different reasons, of course."

Liverpool defender Andy Robertson speaking to PLP: "We can't thank Jurgen Klopp enough and all the players could do today was try to win for him and we managed that to send him off on a high.

"Every time he stood up he would have got a massive cheer. He tried to take the limelight off him and it just wasn't possible. He will have to suck it up today. What he's done for the club is magnificent. We have a lot to be grateful for and thankful for. Today he can just focus on being with his family and the fans. We wish him and his family all the best for the future.

"On the pitch it's clear to see. He gave me a chance at Liverpool, signed me, made me the player I am and helped me win trophies. I came here as a relatively young man and I'm a lot more older and wised now but a lot of characteristics have been down to him. He texts me in good moments and in bad. He's improved all of us as people. That's what we're all grateful for. He always took time for our families and for us. That's what we'll miss the most. He's done amazing at this club. I think he needs to get off in the sun, have a beer in his hand and have a well deserved rest.

"We wanted to send him off like we have but of course there's a new era upon us. We're all excited and we have to be. We need to be on board. We will be ready to get on board with the new manager and help him as much as we can. This club demands success. We're excited for the new challenge. Let's have a couple of days rest, I'll go represent Scotland, then we'll be ready."
