Cambridge and Barnet remain level on points in League Two after their goalless draw.

The early stages were a cagey affair before the hosts went close on 29 minutes when James Brophy cut inside and fired an effort which curled wide of the far post.

Barnet ended the first half dominantly, with Jake Eastwood making a good save to push away Idris Kanu's shot from distance. A Ben Winterburn corner was nearly flicked in for a Kylian Kouassi own goal.

Eastwood rushed out to deny Danny Collinge in the last minute of the half, before Lee Ndlovu's blast was deflected off target. Ryan Glover then headed a Winterburn cross over.

Their pressure continued immediately after the break with Eastwood called on to turn away Adam Senior's shot after he was teed up by Mark Shelton. On 55 minutes Ndlovu darted past his man but fired into the side netting.

A rare Cambridge chance came with a rapid break on 64 minutes, culminating with Adam Mayor's shot being stopped by Cieran Slicker, but there would be no breakthrough.
