Luton left it late to deny Leyton Orient victory following a 1-1 draw at Brisbane Road.

A stoppage-time equaliser from Gideon Kodua cancelled out what looked like a winner from Theo Archibald.

Luton, who made eight changes from their FA Cup defeat at Fleetwood last weekend, nearly opened the scoring after five minutes when Jacob Brown crossed for Jerry Yates in the area, but the ball was put just behind the striker.

Orient had to make a change in the 18th minute when Josh Koroma was carried off the pitch on a stretcher with a head injury, with Archibald replacing him.

There was little other incident in the first half, with both teams struggling at times to get their passing game going.

Orient sprung into life four minutes into the second half with the opener as Dom Ballard robbed Kai Naismith and squared for Archibald to slot home with ease.

An effort from Jordan Clark in the 71st minute came back agonisingly off a post, but Kodua headed Luton level in the sixth minute of added time from a corner.
