Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola speaking to BBC Sport's Match of The Day: "It is a massive win for us because we were in a difficult situation, especially last week in terms of numbers and in defensive players.
"We are finding ways to get points against difficult opposition. I am very proud of the team and what we are doing. We are adapting and we are getting good points."
On Liverpool getting a goal just before half-time: "That is when you don't want to concede. We wanted to go into the dressing room 2-0 up. It was a good goal from van Dijk and we knew we were going to have to push with everything they have done it and we conceded two set plays. But from the 2-2 we started playing better and we felt that we didn't have anything to loose."
On if he thought the game wasn't going to be an open game: "No I think the game was Liverpool-Bournemouth and it was going to be open.
"I think it is a win that we needed. We are now on 30 points, we need the points and we need them as soon as possible. We are still in relegation situation so we still have to fight and go for points."

Slot says the players were tired, but he doesn't rotate them enough. He needs to adapt. We've gone from a high intensity pressing team to a team too focused on control. The balance, perfect last season, has swung too far.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot, speaking to Sky Sports: "Although we were 2-0 down at a certain point, but it's a good comeback although it didn't feel to me that we deserved to be 2-0 down at the moment we were, but the players reacted really well. We came back to 2-2 and then I thought it was a very open game where both teams had their chances.
"They probably [had] even more than us which shouldn't come as a complete surprise to me knowing that we've played two days before in Marseille and for the last four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10 games we've had to play with the same players for the players we had available and then sometimes a few of them could be at the end of the game a bit tired. I think that's what you could see at the end today as well."
On what he was saying to the officials at the end: "I think first of all we have to look at ourselves. It was more open. Both teams were trying to score a goal. They had better opportunities than us in the last 10 minutes and then in the end there was a long throw-in and they scored a goal.
"For me, four minutes of added time was not enough but in the end that didn't matter because they scored. Although then we could've maybe had two or three minutes but this game shouldn't have had four minutes of extra time. There was already a free-kick that took two or three minutes, there was VAR moments, there was substitutions. That's what I said to them, that four minutes wasn't enough.
"We were down to 10 men and then they scored their second and that was the only few minutes bar from the last 10 minutes that we had some problems. But the result was another loss."

Having gone 2-0 up and getting pegged back to 2-2, Bournemouth showed great character in coming back to somehow find a way to win the game and get three desperately needed points.
I don’t think anyone could say they didn’t deserve it, given how hard they worked. They have been through a bit of a difficult period, with the team slipping down the table and Antoine Semenyo leaving, but Andoni Iraola is doing a really good job and showing why he’ll be a manager in demand when his contract is up in the summer.
From Bournemouth’s point of view, they would have looked at Liverpool and thought ‘why can’t we beat them’ – Arne Slot’s side look miles off the team we saw last season.
Liverpool just don’t look right in all areas. They’re making too many errors and are weak defensively, as we saw with the winning goal. While they scored two goals from set-pieces, they didn’t create anywhere near enough from open play.
Their aim has to be salvaging the season by qualifying for the Champions League with a top four or perhaps top-five finish – but that’s a big drop-off from what we saw last season.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot speaking to BBC Sport's Match of The Day: "It is a cruel game if you lose in extra time after coming back from 2-0 down at half-time.
"I think it was only 5-10 minutes in the first half where we didn't have total control, we played through them nicely a few times but we conceded twice and we went down to 10 men so that doesn't help.
"It felt to me that if we were able to make up the 2-1, we would have been back in the game. We were a lot of the time in promising positions but we were 2-0 down and it did feel to me that we were going to score and get back in the game.
"It is fair to say that in the last 10-minutes it was more open but I could see that my players were tired because we only had two days in between each game."
On when the goals were scored: "It was Bournemouth's best 10-minutes.
"It is mostly the same few players who have to play and it is safe to say that they were very tired and I cannot blame them, especially if you face a very intense Bournemouth team."
I thought the bottom three was pretty much sewn up a couple of weeks ago but West Ham's upturn in form has put the cat among pigeons.
It shows just how big a win that was for Bournemouth.

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk speaking to Sky Sports: "I am very disappointed. Last minute of the game is very tough to take, we worked very hard in the second half to get back in the game and to concede that late is disappointing."
Van Dijk was seen after Bournemouth's late goal questioning the referee, he explained to us about that: "What I felt on that pitch is that I was blocked but the referee and VAR didn't give it. I can stand here and say it shouldn't have been given bit it was, so it is what it is."
On Bournemouth scoring two goals in seven minutes: "The first goal was a difficult one to judge, the wind was very tricky so it was difficult. To concede that was isn't an issue but it's not good. To concede two goals in a short period is not good at all. The goal for us a half-time was really important for momentum in the second-half.
"In the end, that throw in cost us."
On who to blame for the loss: "After a game and a moment it is easy to say he should have done this, he should have done that and I know that is what will happen but we decided to keep the ball and eventually they got it.
"Losing never feels good especially as a Liverpool player. This season we are trying to find consistency."
On his team's togetherness: "I don't think there is any question about our togetherness but the consistency we are looking for still needs to be found. It is something we have to deal with and we want to perform and we want to win games."

The people are coming for this and to see all the happiness in everybody, the members of staff, all the people who are working for the club and the fans, it's for moments like this we play football.
"It's a crazy moment. Obviously it's the first time it's happened to me. The emotions are amazing, but overall it shows the character of the team,. I think we played a very good game against a very tough opponent and this goal is showing all the work rate of the whole team and hopefully I score this one, for sure I'm even more happy. Bournemouth have conceded 52 goals in their 17 Premier League games against Liverpool – against no side have they shipped more (also 52 vs Man City).
