Cornelia Kapocs, in particular, is playing really well. She is the only Liverpool player that has started every single game this season and you can see why.

Better from Everton. Inma Gabarro hangs up a dangerous cross into the middle from the right but Risa Shimizu does superbly to produce a defensive header under pressure.

What a great lead this is. It was definitely a cross, but she won't care because it is in the roof of the net.

There was some brilliant build-up play from Cornelia Kapocs, she showed determination by running forward and timing that dink perfectly.

Rosa van Gool clearly wants to speed up play here.

She has just put her hand on the ball for the free-kick and played it in to Yuka Momiki straight away. She just needed slightly more weight on her pass though.

This is much better from Everton. I know they're 1-0 down, but their shape is a lot better now.

Liverpool's Kirsty MacLean tries her luck from 25 yards out, but she can't keep it down and it goes harmlessly over the bar.

Everton have conceded six goals in the first 15 minutes of the first half, only Aston Villa and London City Lionesses (seven apiece) have conceded more in the Women's Super League this season.

Everton's defensive strategy is a bit wrong at the minute.

They just need to get a bit closer in midfield because the distance from their defence to their midfield is just too big.

That was a great bit of pressure from us. It was a great bit of quality which got us into the box, something we've been lacking for most of this season. I'm seeing such a difference in that area today.

It was pure pressure and we have been rewarded for it. It was a clear penalty for me, you could tell that straightaway.

Liverpool hit the post with a header that bounces off the right upright, but they come again and it is a scramble in the penalty area, with the ball bouncing off a raised arm of Imma Gabarro. Ceri Holland to take the penalty.

A half-opportunity for Everton's Aurora Galli in the Liverpool penalty area, but Jenna Clark does well covering to get a challenge in and stop the shot.

A good start for Liverpool and Mia Enderby gets a shooting chance, but it is deflected away following a bright run down the left flank from Ceri Holland.

A first chance for Liverpool and Kirsty MacLean takes a strike left-footed, but it is too close to Courtney Brosnan in the Everton goal and she makes a comfortable save.

Liverpool head coach Gareth Taylor speaking to Sky Sports: "We can take a bit of confidence from our performance in that FA Cup win, but today is a different game and we have to earn the right again.

"We know the early part of this game is going to be a battle for both teams, so we have to earn the right to be able to play the way we want to play. The quicker we can do that, the quicker we can get into our attacking shape to try to nullify their threats.

"This is an evenly matched game. Scott Phelan has done a really good job of steadying the ship, bringing in some results and moving them up the table."

Everton interim head coach Scott Phelan speaking to Sky Sports: "Hannah [Blundell] was in really good form prior to the Manchester United game. The situation and the agreement between the two clubs meant she had to miss out last week.

"I've made another change with Inma [Gabarro]. We've asked for players who have started the last two games to make a notable impact, and she's certainly done that. She is a player we value highly and she has definitely earned the opportunity in the team today.

"I expect this game to be tight. There isn't a massive difference between the two teams. Obviously they slightly edged things last time out, which was disappointing for us, but I expect another tight one today. It will be a competitive and exciting game, so hopefully we can come out on top."
