When to reintroduce Fernandes? FPL talking point

Bruno Fernandes has been deployed in a different role at Manchester United since Ruben Amorim's departure

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been in fine form since returning from injury, creating goals in consecutive Premier League games against Burnley and Manchester City.
Since Ruben Amorim's departure he has also been deployed in a more attacking role, perhaps freeing him up to make a greater contribution.
But with United travelling to Premier League leaders Arsenal - who boast the best defensive record in the division - on Sunday, is it a week too early to reintroduce the Portugal midfielder?
FPL expert Holly Shand and some of the team from the FPL Podcast assess when the time might be right to bring Fernandes back.
Time To Turn To Manchester United?
Why to bring in Fernandes for GW 23
Holly Shand: "Fernandes is quickly gaining essential status once again, having been the highest scoring midfielder in the game before a hamstring problem kept him out of much of the festive period.
"Playing as more of a number 10 has elevated his attacking threat and we saw him create six key passes in the 2-0 win against Manchester City, including four big chances.
"He's the most prolific creator in the Premier League this season, where he's leading the way among all players for both key passes (62) and big chances created (15). He has nine assists, dominating on set-pieces, including spot-kicks.
"The Gunners have a leading 11 clean sheets this season, including in consecutive games. They won the reverse of this fixture 1-0, but crucially Manchester United have confidence with a new manager bounce, plus an emphatic derby win.
"In that tougher game, Fernandes notched the two defensive contribution points, which bodes well for his routes to points against Arsenal - he has a higher ceiling than Bryan Mbeumo for example."
Statman Dave: "Bruno had more touches than any other Manchester United player in an advanced area against Manchester City.
"He created six chances and got an assist - against a Pep Guardiola team in the Premier League that has never happened."

Manchester United have three away games in their next five fixtures
The case for a GW 24 switch
Shand: "Gameweek 24 is the more logical entry point, with consecutive home games against Fulham and Spurs.
"Managers may look to make the switch in that week from Phil Foden to Fernandes, once Manchester City have faced Wolves at home."
Eilidh Barbour: "I had Bruno in at one point. It is different now because under Amorim he was playing deeper and not contributing the same. Now I think he will, so perhaps I will have my eyes on him down the line."
Statman Dave: "I would say get Bruno in but get him in next week because they are facing Arsenal, one of the best defences in the league.
"It is a different test this game, there will be more control from Arsenal. City are very open on the counter attack."
Which other Man Utd players should be considered?
Statman Dave: "Patrick Dorgu. It is a simple transfer.
"He is a £4.3m defender, he's had a goal and an assist in the last five. In the last five game weeks he is the top scorer in FPL, with 40 points.
"He is someone you can definitely get in but the only thing with him is if he is going to play left-back. I think he is a much better attacker."
