Ehibhatiomhan & Dorrington join Salford on loan

Alfie Dorrington has appeared in the UEFA Europa League and Conference League for Aberdeen this season.

Salford City have loaned centre-back Alfie Dorrington from Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton forward Prince Ehibhatiomhan for the rest of the season.

Dorrington spent the second half of last season and the first half of this season at Aberdeen, playing 16 games and scoring a goal for the Scottish Premiership side, as well as helping them to the Scottish Cup triumph over Celtic.

A former under-21 captain at Spurs, Dorrington made his senior debut for them last season as a substitute in a Premier League match at Southampton, and has six first-team games under his belt for the North London club.

Salford manager Karl Robinson said of the England Under-19 international, external: "He has had a couple of very encouraging spells in Scotland with Aberdeen after impressing at youth level for his club and England, and we feel that his aerial ability and composure on the ball will add to the options we already have in the building going into what we're hoping is a very exciting second half of the season."

Ehibhatiomhan scored three goals in 21 appearances for Swindon Town on loan for the first half of this season before being recalled by Saints.

Robinson said of the 20-year-old: "Prince is strong, powerful and will bring a real force for us at the top end of the pitch to add to the quality we already have in those positions."
