Southampton loan midfielder Aribo to Leicester

Leicester City have brought in midfielder Joe Aribo on loan from fellow Championship club Southampton until the end of the season.

Aribo, 29, joined the Saints in 2022 after three seasons in Scotland with Rangers, where he won the Premiership title and Scottish FA Cup, and scored in the Europa League final defeat by Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Nigeria international has scored nine goals in 111 games for Southampton, and made 53 Premier League appearances.

He has played seven times this season, with his last game coming in the win over West Bromwich Albion on 9 December.
