Jersey Bulls held to draw by Beckenham Town

Jersey Bulls kept up their unbeaten run at home this season after a 1-1 draw with Beckenham Town.

Lorne Bickley spurned a number of chances before Shaquille Gordon put Beckenham ahead after half an hour.

Bulls had more opportunities after the break, including a goal that was ruled out for offside.

But top scorer Bickley was on hand to rescue a point for the islanders as he headed home after Rai Dos Santos saw his 75th minute shot saved.

The draw moves Bulls up to 11th place in Isthmian League South East while Beckenham remain second from bottom.
