Sissoko leaves Watford for Panathinaikos

Moussa Sissoko amassed 71 caps for France during his time with the national team

Greek Superleague side Panathinaikos have signed former France international midfielder Moussa Sissoko from Championship club Watford for an undisclosed fee.
The 36-year-old returned for a second spell with the Hornets in the summer of 2024 and has featured 61 times since moving back to Vicarage Road from French club Nantes.
He first joined Watford from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2021, but left when the club was relegated from the Premier League within 12 months of his arrival.
Sissoko, who also previously played for Newcastle United and Toulouse, made a total of 99 appearances for Watford across his two spells in Hertfordshire.
