Lee Shaw's equaliser midway through the second half earned Chesterfield a point in a 2-2 draw at Solihull.

Solihull beat Chesterfield 4-0 at the Proact Stadium on Boxing Day but the Spireites clawed their way back from a goal down twice to secure the draw - their 13th in the league this season.

Moors opened the scoring nine minutes before half-time through Jermaine Hylton's eighth league goal of the season.

Hylton, who scored Solihull's fourth and final goal at Chesterfield in the Boxing Day fixture, capitalised on Jamey Osborne's creativity to fire past Callum Burton.

Marc-Antoine Fortune got the Spireites back in the game tapping home from close range after Alex Kiwomya's cross two minutes into the second half.

But Solihull's response was instant with Alex Gudger heading home Darren Carter's cross.

Shaw scored Chesterfield's second equaliser of the game, tapping home after Kiwomya's shot came back off the post.

Chesterfield were denied victory when Shaw's header was cleared off the line five minutes before full-time.
