Where in Essex should be a Town of Culture?

Three Essex towns are bidding to become UK's first Town of Culture in 2028. Witham, Rochford and Leigh-on-Sea have all thrown their names into the hat. The winner receives around £3 million pounds and the two runners up will get a quarter of a million, an investment which can be put towards festivals, community events, arts projects and other cultural activities.
