The inner bailey is the oldest part of Ludlow Castle, and was the heart of the building's Medieval defences. Today it is surrounded by four towers, although there may have been more before. This image shows the imposing crescent-shaped North Range, which was completed in the 14th Century, and the distinctive Round Chapel.
