Bottom of Dawley High Street At the bottom of Dawley's high street is a memorial to Captain Matthew Webb, the first man to swim the English Channel and a true Dawley man. Nearby is the local library, the local bus stops and the Town Hall, which also provides a home for the Telford stage school.
