Tech Tips: anti-rocker
Anti-Rockers:

This piece of advice concerns the two most popular ways you can set-up your frames (for any newbies out there, the frames are the racks on the bottom of your skates that your wheels are bolted to).

95% of Skaters will skate with either very small, plastic third and fourth wheels in their frames, or with no middle wheels at all (like I do). This is called 'anti - rocker'. The advantage of having only four wheels down (eg the third and fourth wheels) is that it makes your H-block space ( the space between your third and fourth wheel) HUGE, making most grinds much, MUCH easier.

I really cannot stress enough how much it helps to either completely remove your middle wheels or swap them for grindrocks or something similar (like 48mm 101a wheels). You really will find it 100 times easier than having all eight wheels. Skating with all eight down will make you a little faster and give you more controlled turns, but in my opinion, that's not that great compared to the advantages of anti-rocker.
