What tricks are you learning at the moment?
Tailwhips and spinnin' stuff. Like 540s and all that. A 720 maybe.

Do you go through many spokes?
Not really, now that Richie built my wheel. Before I broke one every time I bunnyhopped [laughs]!

What do you do for a job?
Student [laughs]. I work in a nightclub as well, bouncin' on the door.

Why did you decide to do the course you do?
It's just a good mix - messin' about with video editing and all that. I'm into video editing. They've bunged a whole load of variety into the whole course, like web design and everything, so it sounded good. The picture in the wee prospective looked good an' all. I was into that.

Lots of attractive girls?
Not on my course, no. That's what I thought, but there isn't any.

Do you have any plans for what you want to do after college?
Go to uni after college and try and stay a student for as long as I can so I can get bevvied every night with the troops.
Pete: And try and stay out of jail.
Aye - try and finish uni and stay out of jail.

Do you want to go into the whole 'jail' thing?
No [laughs]. The lawyer said we have to keep it quiet, man.

When are you due in court?
Pete: 17th of June.
Aye, cheers Pete. Ma jail-buddy [laughs].

Your shower buddy.
Yeah, he's the soap-dropper.

How did you get into bouncing?
I went away on holiday, I think it was when we all went to Barcelona, and I just needed to get some money, so this other guy (Stevie Wu) got us a job. So I just fleeced it, but I'm still doing it. It's all good - easy money. Just hanging about, eyeing up...er nah, it's just good money [laughs]. I keep forgetting I've got a bird, man - SHH!

Do you have to break up many fights?
Nah. I've tried it - add a few to the scars, but it's not happening.

What's the best trick?
More just people who flow about. I'm not that into certain tricks. People who do the tailwhips the right way - like on the downside, I'm into that.

Who has the best style?
Taj - he's rad and Ruben and that. Just 'cos they're a bit different from everyone else and they think up their own stuff, which is cool. And the Yeti is obviously the number one rider out of everyone just now, but he is getting on a bit.

What's the best trick you've seen him pull?
A Switzerland Squeaker. That's rad, man. That's actually the best trick ever. Better than all that tailwhip stuff.

Do you still work at West End Cycles?
I might be going back there in the summer. I did work experience there when I was at school and it was rad working with all the bikes and that, so hopefully I'll be back in the summer.

Which videos at the moment do you rate?
The Etnies one was good when it came out. I like the T1 video just now - it's something different.
Pete: What about the videos on your phone?
[Laughs] Best not talk about the videos on my phone. Drop The Hammer was rad - like the guy who filmed himself and all that, that was good. But of all the videos, I don't know - they get a bit boring man, they're all the same.

What's the most repetitive trick that should be banned from videos?
Tabletops and turndowns. They're s****.

Who's better - you or Gogo?
Me. All Gogo does is s**** tricks like tabletops and turndowns [laughs].

What's the best thing about the Kelvingrove Skatepark?
The stairs in each corner. How many are there? The five-set in the corner.

If you could change the park, what would you alter?
Put in more stairs, for definite [laughs]. More stairs - get rid of the transitions.
