Is this a competition Uma? Is so I think the answer is You can see a sunset like this every day between 9am and 10 pm in a frame in any IKEA branch. Seriously good sunset on a more constructive note Is there a prize?

Kyle Skew from Ferry Cottage Ardvasar Skye

In reply to your comments Kyle Skew - I feel disheartened to be on the receiving end of your patronising comments and wanted revenge. Imagine my surprise when looking for a blog of yours to heap scorn on BUT ALAS no blog was found. Are you one of these people who can deconstruct other peoples good ideas with purile unfunny comments but do not have the brain power to construct a blog of your own. On a serious note IKEA also give good bargains on garden furniture and there is no prize. Sunset picture was taken on Flotta over looking Hoy Hills (Cannot be bought in IKEA) but I will e-mail you a copy for free.

Lovely picture. It must have been right fine to have been there, looks so peaceful. Please post more pictures of Flotta life if you have the chance. PS Nothing in IKEA here with the same style or charm as an old bargain from the Kirkwall mart, nor the same shopping experience either unfortunately.

Christopher Gee from Trondhjem

Well, I think it looks amazing. Nice one, Uma!

Julie from Glasgow

Sorry if you were disheartened. The comment was meant lightly and not in any way intended to demean the excellent quality of the photo or to denegrate the effort in downloading it. Sorry if you thought the entry 'purile' sic and won't comment on your entries again. I promise. Is this the sort of grovelling apology you were looking for?

Kyle Kew from Skye

Hey guys, lets cool the beans eh?

Mike from IBHQ

on the few days each year when the gods hold their breath, white horses dont leap, sandy bays lay asleep.. the cliff tops and beaches that frame our fair isles are lit from above with that wonderous smile as cloud curtain slips, aside, to reveal, such beautiful sights such awe that we feel.

Isles Pictures from Grimsay

Isles Pictures - what a lovely piece of writing. Thank you very much
