Choose whether you want to investigate theme, structure or character – each extract has plenty for you to say under each heading. Print out the page and use the blank space on the page to annotate the extract. You can show this to your teacher for extra feedback, or compare your reading with a friend’s to see how differently two people can interpret the same passage.
