Gerard Baker and students from Birmingham College of Food, Tourism and Creative Studies

In this week's programme we hear about the banquet that was prepared for finalists and winners in the BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards 2004 at Birmingham's Museum and Art Gallery. Chef Gerard Baker, with the assistance of students from Birmingham College of Food, Tourism and Creative Studies, prepares the food using ingredients provided by all the finalists. Throughout the proceedings finalists deliver their food to the door and Sheila Dillon and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall drop in to check on their progress.

Sheila meets Fraser Thomson, Scott Wright, Keisha Hamblin, Nicola Underwood and Suzanne Kerslake, who are all final year students doing a degree or diploma in Culinary Arts Management at Birmingham College of Food, Tourism and Creative Studies.
