Celebrating Mozart

A series of recitals featuring some of the music which contributed to Mozart's 'star' status in Viennese society during 1784. From the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, introduced by Petroc Trelawny.
Mozart thought that his Quintet for piano and wind was one of the best things he had written do date. Arrangements for wind selections from his opera Die Entführung aus dem Serail were proving so popular that he even made one of his own.
