Petroc Trelawny introduces the first of four concerts recorded at Symphony Hall, Birmingham which complement the neo-classicism of Stravinsky with music by Mozart.
One of Britain's brightest young stars, Ashley Wass, pre-empts next year's celebration of what would have been Mozart's 250th birthday, by combining two of his sonatas with Stravinsky's Beethoven-esque Sonata.
