The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £29,000 for Children In Need.

The package is for you and three friends to have lunch with Joanna Lumley and Sir Terry Wogan at Richard Corrigan's restaurant, Bentley's.

Package details:

*At a date to be arranged next year, you and three friends will come to London for a leisurely lunch with two national treasures – Sir Terry Wogan and Joanna Lumley.
*Lunch will be served in the elegance of Bentley’s Restaurant, which is owned by Michelin starred chef Richard Corrigan.
*You’ll be met and chauffeur driven to the exclusive eatery – by a Bentley of course!
*There you will join Terry and Joanna in a private room for several hours of eating and chatting.
*We'll arrange photos at the event so you have a reminder of the great day.
*You’ll need to get yourselves to and from London but we’ll then get you to lunch.

The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £13,500 for Children In Need.



The package is for you and a friend to spend time in the historic University City of Durham, as a guest of writer and University Chancellor Bill Bryson. The trip is for two days – Friday 5 and Saturday 6 March 2009.

Package details:

*Arrive in the city and enjoy a personal guided tour of Durham with a local guide.
*You will see the incredible sights of the city, from the cobbled streets, beautiful churches, and quaint teashops - to the hustle and bustle of University life, and the colleges at the heart of this seat of learning.
*Then, you will go for lunch in the Octagon Room in Durham Castle with writer and broadcaster Bill Bryson and take away some signed books.
*The highlight of your day will be a VIP tour of the stunning Norman Cathedral which in 2001 was named Britain's Best Loved Building. It holds the shrine of Saint Cuthbert and you can see the treasures of Saint Cuthbert within the Cathedral. It is also home to the head of St Oswald of Northumbria and the remains of the Venerable Bede. 
*You will spend the Friday night in the Bishop’s Suite at the Castle, before being picked up and driven to Durham Tees Airport where you will see Durham by air!
*You’ll fly with Northern Aviation over Durham, Newcastle, Hadrian’s Wall and Barnard Castle and see the beautiful North East by air!

Please note: you must get yourself to and from Durham. Breaksfast is included.

The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £35,000 for Children In Need.



The package is for you and a friend to spend a day at Wimbledon, with Aled Jones as your date! Go behind the scenes and see how the BBC gets the coverage on air, meet Sue Barker and the team, and then go and see two centre court matches.

Package details:

*A trip for two people to Wimbledon with Aled Jones.
*Have a look behind the scenes of the BBC broadcasting operation and see how we get our coverage on air.
*Visit the studio and meet Sue Barker, then pop into a commentary box to see the experts at work.
*In the afternoon go and see the Men's Semi Final matches with Aled on Centre Court.

The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £6,500 for Children In Need.

The package is for you and a friend to be the VIP guests at BBC Radio 2's massive music event at the Indigo 02 in London on Wednesday 26 November 2008.



Package details:

*Spend the day backstage, watching sound-checks and then in the evening you will see performances from: James Morrison, Adele, Duffy, The Feeling and Keane.
*You’ll be in the VIP area to watch the show.
*Go backstage with the performers and the Radio 2 team.
*Meet and greet the stars.

*Stay overnight in a London hotel.
