STRICTLY COME DANCING

The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £14,000 for Children In Need.



This package is for you and a friend to have a Strictly Come Dancing extravaganza.

Package details:

Thursday 13 November

*Dance training with show’s professional dancers in the morning.
*Meet It Takes Two team from BBC2 including Claudia Winkleman.
*Behind the scenes tour visit of It Takes Two.

Friday 14 November

*To be fitted for your outfit for the show.
*Attend rehearsals and go backstage at TV Centre for the BBC 1 show.
*Meet and greet with the competitors.
*Perform your dance on It Takes Two later that day .

Saturday 15 November

*Lunch at Le Caprice, London, in the afternoon with former winner Jill Halfpenny. Here, you will enjoy a 3 course lunch with a bottle of wine.
*You and your partner will attend the live BBC 1show that night.


Please note: you will need to make your own way to and from London. Hotel for three nights in London IS included. You will be staying at the exclusive four star Copthorne Tara hotel on High Street Kensington.This includes free use of the Executive Lounge, free drinks (from a selection) from 6pm-8pm. Breakfast is included.

The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £22,000 for Children In Need



This package is for you and a friend to fly out to Canada to spend a day adventuring with Ray Mears. 

Package Details:

*This is a prize for TWO people.
*You will be flown out to Canada courtesy of the Canadian Tourist Board where you will spend a day with super-adventurer Ray Mears.
*Ray will be somewhere in the region of Saskatchewan on the set of his new series, and you’re invited to spend a day adventuring with him.
*He will be ready and waiting for you in a beautiful part of Canada where he will share with you the basics of bush-craft and outdoor activities.

Please note: It will be early next year, probably March. Be aware it will be very, very cold. Accommodation is provided. This trip will involve a lot of travelling – mainly long flights. We can only allow adults on this trip.

FORMULA 1 DAY


The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £35,000 for Children In Need.



The package is for you and a friend to attend the Santander British Grand Prix in June 2009 – at Silverstone - as the guest of Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone.

Package details:
*Mr Bernie Ecclestone has again made available two VIPs passes to all three days of the British Grand Prix.
*Be part of the Paddock Area - accessed only by the like of Lewis Hamilton, F1 drivers and their engineers.
*Two VIP passes will give you access to pit lane walk (when there are not racing activities going on!)
*Lunch with a team.

Please note: We will provide hotels, but you will need to organise your own transport to and from the event. Lunch is only available for one day. 

Rowing for Gold
ROWING FOR GOLD


The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £10,000 for Children In Need.



This package is for you and a friend to spend the day rowing with two of our Olympic gold medallists at the exclusive Leander Club. 

You will then attend the 2009 Boat Race and follow the Oxford and Cambridge crews in one of the boats which covers the course behind them.

Package details:

*On an agreed date, you and a friend will attend the Leander Club - the most historic and prestigious rowing club in the world in Henley-on-Thames.
*You will be taught the rudiments of rowing on indoor machines in the club gym before going out on the water, where you will row down Henley Reach, the site of the Royal Regatta.
*Following your row you will have a tour of the clubhouse followed by lunch with Gold medallists Pete Reed and Steve Williams in the club dining room.
* Then, come the annual Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race in the Spring, you and your partner will be welcomed onto sponsor Xchanging's following launch to witness the two crews battle it out in front of thousands of cheering supporters along the banks of the Thames.
*The day will include lunch beforehand, the Race itself with drinks on board, the prize-giving and champagne reception post race.

The auction for this package has now taken place, and it raised £20,000 for Children In Need.



The package is for singing star Katie Melua to write a love song for the winning bidder.

Package details:

*Katie will write a love song for the highest bidder.
*After the show on Monday 10 November, she will speak to you to get a feel of what you’re all about
*Then she’ll go away and pen a song with you in mind.
* The track will be officially released with her next single - around Christmas.
*Not only that – the track will be officially dedicated to you on the CD.
*Katie will come on the show on Tuesday 18 November with you to sing it to you personally.

Please note: you must be available in London on Tuesday 18 November to be on Terry's show.
