The Brit Awards kick off at 7.30pm tonight (Wednesday) and one band who are excited already are Kasabian.
This time last year the band were watching the event on the telly but tonight they're nominated for three awards - British Group, British Rock Act and British Live Act.
We chatted to Serge when they were in their limo on the way to the ceremony, and here's what he had to say:
"We're all buzzing - we just getting ready to go down to the awards and cause some havoc."
"I think Best Live would be nice to win, as it's kind of where we've come from."
"We've been in a van all year playing all over the place, so it would be sweet if we could win that one."
They're up against Franz Ferdinand in each of the three categories they're nominated for, but they wish the boys well:
"I'm sure they'll have a good evening - I'm hope they don't come anywhere near us!"
"We've all picked up chicken flu from Asia, so I'm not sure we'll be up to anything. We're going to enjoy it though!"
There are five member of Kasabian, and they've already thought of how to share the award if they do win:
"Hopefully they'll make one each, and if not, we'll have to give it back because it won't be fair if one of us takes it away."
"But, I've already decided that if we do win the award will go on the bonnet of my dad's car like a Rolls Royce!"
But, despite Serge's plans, he reckons it's not best to think too far ahead when it comes to speeches:
"I haven't got a speech planned - the best thing to do is get as drunk as possible and just let your tongue do it's magic!"
