Brit Awards 2005
Brits25 Preview - Franz v Snow Patrol
Last updated 09 February 2005

Franz Ferdinand

Franz Ferdinand are going to play 'Take Me Out' but they told Radio 1 they're keeping their performance pretty basic:

"It's going to be a nice stage. They said imagine your wildest dreams and we'll make them come true."

"I think we're going the opposite way, kind of like the stripped down idea."

"I think it looks more striking the starker the set is."

"We're not going to be breathing fire or anything."

Snow Patrol are up against Franz Ferdinand in a few categories and unfortunately singer Gary doesn't fancy his chances.

"Franz Ferdinand got the most and they deserve that. So they got that right and The Streets and The Zutons, Kasabian. They're decent bands in there, it's not all pop."

"I'm sure it's extremely contentious and many people have their own idea of who should be up there and I'm sure we're not on many people's lists."
