Brit Awards 2005
Brits25 - Ozzy's banned, by Sharon
Last updated 09 February 2005

Ozzy Osbourne and Billy Idol

Ozzy Osbourne has been banned from going to the Brits by his wife Sharon.

We spoke to them last night at the launch of Ozzy's Download Festival, where it was announced that the line up includes Ozzy with Black Sabbath, Feeder, Slipknot, Velvet Revolver, System of a Down and Garbage. Billy Idol is also on the bill, making his first UK festival appearance for 12 years.

The Download festival takes place over three days, June 10th - 12th in Donnington Park.

Sharon explained why she won't let Ozzy go to the Brits even though she is:

Sharon: "I am going yes."

Ozzy: "I'm looking forward to it, because I ain't going!"

Sharon: "No, I don't think my husband should go until he's being offered an award. Because my old man's not a ligger and he doesn't go and lig at things like that."

Ozzy: "See I'm a ventriloquist."

Sharon: "Shut up."
