Iris Reed is proprietor of three toyshops, along with her brother Lester. The prospect of moving in such high-society circles as the Marshalls of Collingwood Park fills her with delight, even if Cressida, Phyllis and Adeline are a little more ambivalent in welcoming her.
Though not as ideologically-driven as her brother, Iris is the tactician behind the Reed’s offensive on Tynemouth, currently occupied by rival toyshop White's. She is also a squeeze-box enthusiast, even if she overlooks the instrument's Germanic connections to compose zealously patriotic ditties.
