Hermione 'Mimi' Morton
Played by Lydia Wilson
Hermione ‘Mimi’ Morton may seem to be a respectable woman, but appearances can be deceptive. Her father is the new owner of Blewett's Theatre of Varieties, where Rose is now a star, and Mimi runs the place with style and a strong head for business.
Mimi is a woman of means who uses her money to act just how she likes, and in her day and age that, essentially, is like a man; she drinks like a man, she swears like a man. And she’s promiscuous like a man. She’s the kind of woman Jackson has never encountered before, and in Mimi he finds a kindred spirit: a woman who can match him drink for drink and doesn’t expect or desire romance or sentimentality.
