Joe Lindsay

Joe Lindsay is a TV and radio broadcaster and DJ. Presenter of Getaways for over a decade, he has hosted shows from all around the world, and all around Ireland.

He started his radio career on BBCNI's award-winning Across The Line, then presented his own After Midnight series. He cut his teeth on television on the magazine show The 11th Hour, consumer programme Inside Out and was presenter and writer of arts series Arts Space. He is a regular contributor to various arts, TV and radio programmes and publications.

Most recently he has become a regular reporter on BBC1's The One Show and presents live TV and radio for BBC2, BBC4 and Radio 6music (including The Biggest Weekend with Lauren Laverne). He is currently presenting weekly daytime radio shows on BBC Ulster and is part of the presenting team for the new BBC Two series, Our Coast.

As a DJ, he was promoter and DJ for clubnights such as Palookaville and Heathen, and supported acts such as De La Soul, Public Enemy and Chic.
