Charlotte, from Guildford, began playing the recorder at the age of six. She has always wanted to be a musician and has also sung as a chorister at Guildford Cathedral. She began playing the bassoon at 11 after auditioning for a Saturday music school. Since then she has been principle bassoon in a number of orchestras including her music school's orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
