Amjad
Undeniably chubby, Amjad is Vince’s boss and a man used to telling other people what to do; all from the comfort of his chair. He is a good family man but sees the taxi world as his empire and himself as the emperor. He hates slackers, cheats, and idleness (in others), and will happily sack – or at least threaten to sack – anyone that challenges him.

Harish Patel is a stage and screen actor. His film credits include Bokshu the Myth (2002), Chicken Tikka Masala (2005), Run Fat Boy Run (2007), All in Good Time (2012), Keith Lemon: The Movie (2012) and Jadoo (2013).
Harish’s television credits include The Buddha of Suburbia (1993), The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency (2009), Coronation Street (2009), in which he played the role of Umed Alahan, and Gangsta Granny (2013). Harish will soon be seen in the BBC’s adaptation of EF Benson’s novel Mapp and Lucia.
