Andy Torbet

Andy is an extreme adventurer and explorer.

He is a very experienced diver having been at it since the age of 12 and undertaken exploratory work in cave-diving and conducting deep, mixed gas dives using technical rebreathers on projects around the world. Although he also enjoys the freedom freediving can bring.

He is also a highly qualified climbing instructor and mountain guide and he has a number of first ascents under his belt in the UK and abroad and holds qualifications as a kayak guide, cave leader and skydiver.

And finally he's a naturalist having finished his degree in zoology before his 20th birthday. He then went on to serve for 10 years in the British Armed Forces as, amongst other things, a bomb disposal officer, paratrooper and diver on tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Bosnia, The Falklands and Northern Ireland.

He is currently finishing off his final paper for his Diploma in Archaeology
