Dawn Stevenson

Dawn and her husband Andy live in a small terraced council house in Scarborough with their two teenage children Noah and Amy . Fifteen years after having her last children, Dawn has now found herself pregnant again with an unplanned third child. She and Andy are surprised but delighted. The same can’t be said for Amy though and Dawn’s struggling with the rift the new baby is causing in their once close relationship.

Dawn’s been a part of the Hazelwood Manor lottery syndicate for longer than she’d care to admit and it’s her who buys the lottery ticket at the local shop every week. She’s never really thought about what she’d do with the money if they won – a new car battery is as far as her current dreams go. But then she never really thought their numbers would actually come up…
