Campaigners have lost their fight to prevent the felling of a tree planted to commemorate the death of wartime Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill.
The local landmark has been felled by property developers, a move which has outraged some of the Cossington community.
However, there’s plans to put the wood to good use.
