Basildon ‘worst in Essex’ for fly-tipping
Fly-tipping is worse in Basildon than anywhere else in Essex and most of the East of England, according to new government figures.
In 2024 there were more than six thousand reports of fly-tipped rubbish. equivalent to more than thirty-two incidents for every thousand people.
In the same 12 months, there were a further 18,558 reported incidents of fly-tipping across Essex.
