Pixie Lott: ‘Essex needs a V Festival’

Singer and songwriter Pixie Lott grew up in Brentwood, and is releasing her first album in 10 years. Pixie made her chart debut in 2009 and has achieved three number one UK singles so far.

Pixie would also love to revive the annual V Festival, which took place within the grounds of Hylands Park near Chelmsford between 1996 and 2020. Over the years it featured hundreds of bands and musicians, including Oasis, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Texas.
