Ukraine: Women at War

Since the Russian invasion, Ukrainian women have increasingly joined the battlefield alongside men. With 60,000 women in the nation’s armed forces, 5,000 female soldiers are currently serving on the front line. Not shying away from the combat duties, they face an extra battle - in the form of Russian propaganda and sexism. Olga Malchevska meets two female snipers and a special unit sergeant, who have all joined the front lines to defend their homes and families.
