Luckily Sarah was on hand to tell Amy all about Apple Day....and help with the clue..

Bourne Woods

  • I wonder where the team would be starting this week? This could be a clue...
  • Time to head down to the woods...
  • Today was Apple Day!
  • Here's the proof! You could eat a different variety of apple every day for years apparently...
  • Amy and Claire were set up and raring to go...that's Claire at the back...
  • We love a good notice board...
  • Amy and Claire were hoping someone could help with the first clue...
  • Luckily Sarah was on hand to tell Amy all about Apple Day....and help with the clue..
  • Where would clue 1 take the team today?
  • It took them to where stories of other Pirate's adventures were available......Bourne Bookshop!
  • The lovely Peter and Karen were there to meet the team...they were celebrating the shops 3rd year in business....
  • These books caught Amy's eye...
  • No time to stop though....there was a clue to be solved.....where next?
  • The large pumpkins greeted the team on their arrival...
  • Do we not love pumpkins!
  • The ghostly shadow of Amy across the field...
  • They come in all shapes and sizes.....looked like a busy day on the pumpkin patch...
  • Amy stopped to admire the tractor....
  • Amy met William who had his arms full! She wanted to do some shopping but it was time to move on again...
  • Time for the final clue.....where would the treasure be hiding?
  • It was on the sign at The Mansion House Hotel
  • Amy met Sam and Richard....however the Pirate Gold team arrived 5 minutes late so it was a win for the Pirate Queen!
  • If you've walked past you may have noticed a blue plaque in honour of Sir Norman Angell who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize
