There's the clue....on the bunker!...

IBCC Lincoln

  • All ready for the start this morning....the re-named Dunderbirds!..
  • Karl and driver Claire met Lynsey and Angus at the start point...Doddington Hall
  • Doddington Hall looked so majestic in the sunshine...
  • The sculptures for the exhibition were still in place...
  • There are plenty of sculptures to look at...
  • Our broadcast vehicle Merlin in the shade....
  • The team had a nice surprise when Gwen from Gainsborough came to say hello....she couldn't help with the clue though....
  • Another sculpture...this one is near the entrance as you arrive...
  • It was time to say goodbye to Lynsey and Angus as it was time for the team to leave...
  • Where would clue 1 take them...
  • Next up.....the International Bomber Command Centre...
  • It was their Vintage Afternoon Tea and Dance event....
  • Not just the Afternoon Tea and Dance....there was lots more to do and see...
  • Nicky greeted Karl....but where was the next clue hiding...
  • There's the clue....on the bunker!...
  • It's amazing who you bump into at these events......Karl says hello to Winston Churchill...
  • Would Winston Churchill be able to help Karl with the clue......no....it's top secret!...but it was soon time to move on again
  • Where would clue 2 take the team...
  • It was a journey along this road.....
  • Here's the signpost......church that way...
  • Welcome to the Ramblers Church.....Karl was a bit hot after running up the track....
  • Waiting at the memorial bench was Richard and gang with clue 3....what a warm welcome!
  • It was a bit hot on the way to the church...driver Claire gave up halfway!
  • Time to find out where the treasure was hiding.....what would the answer to clue 3 be?
  • It was Pottertons Nursery where Jackie was waiting for Karl....whoops....he didn't get the win as he was 10 minutes late!
  • There's the Pirate Gold....shame the clock had run down....such a great effort!
  • Jackie gave Karl a guided tour....
  • You can get great ideas from other peoples efforts.....
  • Everything looked so lovely...
