  • Karl met Teddy, Sue and Linda at the start point this morning...
  • Karl arrived in Merlin with driver Alan...
  • Karl was hoping his lucky socks would do the trick today....
  • As people were solving the clue Sue gave Karl a tour of the community garden...
  • Just time to say goodbye to Teddy as it was time to move on.....
  • Next destination...a trip to the Georgian Market at the Town Hall....
  • Karl couldn't resist this photo opportunity.....

  • There were also lots of vehicles to have a look at...
  • Some in the shade.....some not!
  • There was also a trail through the village.....no time to stop though....Karl wanted a win!

  • The clock was ticking at the team arrived in search of the Pirate Gold....

  • Yes it is....I don't believe it!
  • The Pirate Gold was on the mat!
  • Celebrations ensued as Karl found the treasure with 5 minutes to spare....it was a win!!
  • John was there to congratulate the team and tell Karl all about the club...
  • John persuaded Karl to have a go....
  • Turns out he wasn't that bad...
  • Karl got very close to the Jack.....more celebrations!

  • Thank you to Richard, John, John and Tracy and all at the club for their hospitality...
  • Time for a celebratory bacon buttie provided by St James' Church and a cup of tea courtesy of the bowls club!
