For all his success XXXTentacion was an increasingly controversial figure. His behaviour would divide audiences and the music industry alike, with some refusing to play his music at all. Even for journalists, trying to make sense of X was complicated - allegations of domestic violence meant some avoided covering him. But one young reporter wanted to hear from him directly and when, after a bit of investigative journalism, she found herself face to face with him on the doorstep she had the chance to question him herself.
