In this episode we meet Juice WRLD. After starting out making music whilst still at school and releasing early tracks on Soundcloud Juice quickly developed a huge fanbase who connected to the emotional honesty and vulnerability in his music. By the age of 19 he'd signed a record deal for $3million. We hear from producers and collaborators who describe Juice's creative process, and how his standout track Lucid Dreams came about - which has now been streamed well over a billion times. Rapper XXXTentacion took a different route - setting up his own label and having more direct involvement in his releases, though his success in music was increasingly matched by controversy in his personal life.
