A small-town T-shirt designer claims he is behind kale's super-stardom in the food world. Bo Muller-Moore tells Emily Thomas how an innocuous meeting with a farmer led to a major trademark battle with a fast food giant and global fame for him, his business, and the leafy green vegetable.
