Ben Hughes is an 18-year-old singer/songwriter from Worcester who first uploaded his music to us at the start of 2017.
He's influenced by some smooth movers in the industry like John Mayer, Bruno Mars and Michael Bublé.
Ben regularly busks around England, earning money to fund his home recording project, and also teaches piano.
"Beautiful soulful tunes; audiences are going to love him wherever he goes" - Andrew Marston.

The Rustic Folk Festival

The first festival of the season is underway, taking place at Hopley's Campsite just outside of Bewdley.
The Rustic Folk Festival, which is in its first year, will see a range of 'alternative' acts performing over the weekend.
Fans from as far field as Devon have made their way along the A456 to check out the music.

TV themes

When you think of the most played artists of all time on British television, you could be mistaken in thinking it's the Beatles or the Kinks from the '60s, Elton John or Stevie Wonder from the '70s, The Eurythmics or Wham from the '80s, Blur or Oasis in the '90s, or Eminem, Adele, Ed Sheeran and Lady Gaga from this side of the millennium.
But one artist from Malvern surpasses possibly all of those artists put together - yet nobody really knows who he is.
But it all began for composer Dave Lowe while working at Midlands Today (where he was casually invited to write a new theme!).

Musicians' Masterclass

It was the biggest new music business gathering to ever to be held in the UK, with more than 100 sessions and 250 speakers ensuring every aspect of the music business was covered.
Held across three days, Amplify offered exclusive access to the UK music industry’s biggest names through intimate talks, music masterclasses and recording workshops.
This week, we hear from Blossoms, who went on to score a #1 with their debut album - one of only eight releases to have spent more than a week at the top in 2016. They talk about the whole signing process - and how to take control of your image and sound.
